About The Band
Consisting of Jake Single (vocals), Brad Ion (guitar), Chops (drums), and Nikolas Bryon-Carr (Guitar); Model T is an Auckland-based, Thin Lizzy tribute band formed in September of 2023. Stood around a fire out West with not much more said the "Hey, so you wanna play some Thin Lizzy?" The band was made. The boys got to it and within a month they were on the stage as Model T running through some of the classics. The familiarity of the four members, having known each other for the better part of a decade comes through on stage with an energetic atmosphere that fills up the room. Over the first half of 2024 the band has put together a multi-hour set and refined this with regular live performances. Model T is now ready to bring their dynamic, high-energy show out to a wider audience.
Across the past months, they have played several unique shows including Jakestoke IV, house parties, and multiple bar sets. This along with regular rehearsals has built the band into an act the audiences are will be blown away by. Young and old! Additionally, over this time they have built up several set ranging the breadth of the Thin Lizzy catalog, from the well known hits to some of the bands deep cuts.

Taking on the job of Phil Lynott at the front of the stage, we have the electrifying Jake Single. With a stage presence that commands every inch of the spotlight and a rumbling bass faithful to the main himself. Jake delivers a performance that is pure rock 'n' roll both belting out the anthems and laying down the grooves. His energy and charisma make every show an unforgettable experience.
Brad Ion
Guitar & Backing Vocals
On the axe, shredding solos we have Brad Ion. Making up one half of the twin guitar blend Lizzy is known for, he delivers raw power and melodic precision that have you wanting more. Brad has a mastary of his instrument that is second to none and applies this craft to the dynamic sounds of Thin Lizzy. Adding to his arsenal, his backing vocals bring in an extra layer of harmony and intensity to the bands anthems.

Meet the heartbeat of the band, drummer extraordinary Chops. His percussive prowess drives age band with precision and power, laying down beats that are as thunderous as they are intricate. Chops isn't just on the drums, bringing in his vocals tagging up with the boys. with his explosive energy the propels the band makes every performance full throttle rock 'n' roll experience you won't won't to miss.
Nik Bryon-Carr
Guitar & Backing Vocals
Rounding out the other half of the Model T guitar duo, we have Nik Bryon-Carr. Delivering a sound the complements Brad across the stage, creating a sound that seamlessly blends. With a captivating stage presence that sees him move across the stage he elevates the energy of the show. Nik also blends backing vocals further adding to thunderous vocals delivered by Jake.
